A loud silence.
Outside it`s cold. Leafs cover the earth. Everything prepares himself for the winter.
The colorlessness of the natural surrounding disagrees with our imagination: what we can realize in the center Sf. Lazar.
For instance: our streeworker, Giada and Anna, hast started their work on the streets. With colorful pictures they teach the streekids how to write and to read. Hannah has opened the door to the Lazart (Lazar art). There you can discover everything except from colorlessness.
While outside it`s raining and storming we are looking out of the window. We are thoughtful and lost ourselves in memories. Our thoughts bear us away. The storm takes us by his hand and we balance on the wire. By reaching the end of the wire we enter in a world that is totally different to ours. There are animals speaking with the trees. Actually it`s more like a whisper. In this world when a little girl is crying tears are raining on the earth. From every tear grows up a flower that is called “don’t forget me”. In the meadow with this colorful flowers rabbits jump around. They ossifies in their movement when somebody puts sold on their tails.
We remember when we were young. We remember the first snow. We will never forget the first snow even if we had forgotten alls snow experience. We remember the smelling of Christmas. We remember the sound of the little wooden fruit when we had given them over the counter to the customer in our children supermarket when meantime the Jesus child moved into our house.
We remember the loud silence. We remember this world. I will never forget this world.
In Sf. Lazar we live with this loud silence. And we are very thankful for it.

My first week in Sf. paul is finished, and for the week end I came back in Sf. Lazar.
Blondin and Cata worked with small children, i work with 3 small children in the morning, that need speech teraphy, and with bigger children in the afternoon, we have to prepare something for the piata de craciun, and i with my little artists did pictures of gips and candles, and we enjoyed very much! The educators there are very cold, but..nobody speach German, and it is so good for me, Blondin and Cata!!!

about our week in lazar.
coming home from moldova on monday morning we started another week without costin who is with his precreation/offspring. and also in lazar we have some, the brothers gotu: vlad, dragos and gabi.. the two little ones (11 and 13, but still) are playing horseriding with wenzel, bounding and bouncing through whole lazar and bewitching us all with their children-charme so often we end up having them in the comunitate eating our chocolate and playing guitar and drums.
at the end of the week we took lulu in the lazar, in our volonariat he has the record of continuous staying here, i think its two days now. he begged lucian to take him because he likes simona.
it was also the last rodica-week for the second group, sad. tasks of the week where the completion of the cantec-books (two days ago we received the message that they again found a song which is missing, yuppie) and the puchipuchi-project. the whole week we suffered trying to get rid of the horrible bananachocolate-donation by eating. unfortunately i have to admit that we capitulated in the end and sent a big amount of them with the farmers philipp and georg who brought us good black bread which made a lot of lazarinhabitants unhappy again.
giada worked for her photography-project, she wants to take pictures of all children and let them write something about themselves, in the end the idea is to make a book about them, about their live and their history. and wenzel started with hand- and needlework, his factory is daily opened from 09:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 17:00. his secretary "miss hilde" receives new orders with pleasure. thursday wenzels dad was again here for a visit, brought tissues, cereals, and more chocolate (probably also warm underwear and socks for wenzel, but we don't know).
friday paulina came back! sandale was really happy. and her mother came, too, helped us cooking and was like a second pauline with whitegrey hair. rahel, anna and jakob 2 left to go to the west, we tried to convince them of the danger of this project but couldn't. so we waited worrying. and they came back and told us the wild stories about their adventures in a place called carrefour baneasa.
friday mimi and theres left for the mountains, gerda first wanted to go with them but then thought that it was a bit devil-may-care and preferred to go alone :) saturday night we received a message from them that they were stuck in the mountains under half a meter of snow.
meanwhile benjamin taught some of us cross-domino because "real christians play cross domino". the game produced also some less christian statements of jakob who just lost all the time, but in the end the bible won "but many who are first will be last; and many who are last will be first." matthew 19:30
sunday rahel, anna and me went to bucarest and we found a beautifulbeautiful dreamingandtalkingplace with velvetsofas, red curtains, golden mirrors and a beautiful toilet. go there! then we cooked pasta, vegetables, meat and salad and white vine. mimi and theres finally came back and we where happy.

De la început: Acum Costin este un tătă mandru. El numai are doar 40 de copii nebuni în Sf. Lazar, dar şi o fetiţă. Costin a pus numele „Luca”, pentru că el a fost sigur, că bebeluş va fi un baiat. Din acestea causa el este înconcediu.
De Miercuri pâne Vineri Rahel, Jakob şi Catalin au lucrat la Ferma. Ei au aranjat barăcile de hainele acolo. Întâmplător Rahel acum are mai multe hainele..... Adica noi am avut multe lucru.
Din causa toate chitarele, vioara, clarinetul şi saxofonul au plecat, eu am fost foarte solitar şi am trebuit să fac capela sera şi cânt la chitara. Theres se simţi mai bine în spalatoriă. Dar din când în când ea ţipă din causa es nu stie ce să facă. Rodica a fost bolnavă. Nouă nu ne a venit să credem. Macarena a venit Vineri şi a plecat Vineri sera. Mimi şi eu am semnit cu fetele şi cu Ionuţiiii. A fost foarte frumos.
